salvARTion, my debut collection, is inspired by my own story of escapism from bad occurrences in my environment. The collection was my mode of escape from the bad things happening around me. From police brutality, to rape, to bad governance, to feeling the weight of being a male in Nigeria.

People that look like me (men) are the ones causing the bad things happening that I need to escape from. When I want to escape, I paint, I draw, I destroy things.It’s almost like an outward expression of what I am feeling on the inside of me.

The 9 look offering is spread across denim jackets, pants and shirts; With a lot of interesting details, distorted forms, loose hanging threads spun differently so each piece has a unique identity, and a painting inspired by family.
